Sample itinerary
Day 1
  • Arrival and transfer to hotel. Welcome dinner at hotel.
Day 2
  • Visit to the Historic Centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site Also to see the Aliaga mansion and an spectacular colonial convent.
  • Delicious lunch in one of the best local restaurants.
  • After lunch, visit to Larco Museum, with its ceramic, gold and silver art collections, provides a revealing introduction to life in pre-Columbian, and pre-Inca.
  • Dinner in a top Lima restaurant.
Day 3
  • Transfer to Lima airport to take a flight to Cusco.
  • Arrival at the hotel in Cusco and welcome reception. Sipping some Coca Tea should help you adjust to the altitude.
  • Rest and lunch at restaurant.
  • City tour visiting inca and colonial monuments such us Koricancha and Sacsayhuaman.
  • Dinner in a good restaurant specialising in nouvelle-Andean cuisine, accompanied by Andean music.
  • Optional, visit to bars and discotheques for all tastes.
Day 4
  • Visit to Ollantaytambo, beautiful town that contains an Inca village whose stone houses are still inhabited by descendents of ancient Peruvians. A wide range of open-air activities such as walking, mountain biking, horse riding and canoeing is available.
  • Lunch at Hacienda Orihuela, where its owners host you for a delicious home-made meal, with farm-grown ingredients, in their hill-top house overlooking the Sacred Valley and River.
  • Return to Cusco city and afternoon free to enjoy the city and shopping.
  • Gala dinner; there is a wide choice of restaurants, mansions with Inca walls, monasteries, convents or private hotel romos built on inca walls where you can appreciate the mixture between Inca and Spanish culture.
Day 5
  • Tour to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Tour content is available in three themes: active, historical, spiritual. Your choice. We will go by Orient Express / PeruRail train from Cusco to Machu Picchu, the scenery is spectacular. Optional the transfer could be at Hiram Bingham luxury train.
  • Lunch at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, the only hotel located next to the sanctuary.
  • Return to Cusco.
