About the event:

The 6th Latin American Congress of Political Ecology is a regional event organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences of PUCP. It brings together the academic community, social movements, territory defenders and institutions linked to socio-environmental analysis to discuss the new challenges of Latin American political ecology. The event addresses topics such as extractivism, socio-environmental conflicts, citizen rights, violence against environmental defenders and colonial and patriarchal dynamics. It also seeks to strengthen dialogue between academia and territories, promoting critical and articulated reflection on alternatives to the civilizational crisis.
